Several political, social, religious, trade organizations condemn Kishtwar killings

JAMMU, Nov 2: Several political, social, religious and trade organizations have condemned the brutal killings of two brothers in Kishtwar town last night.
The work remained suspended in all the courts in response to the call of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu lodging protest against the brutal killings of two innocent brothers namely Ajit Parihar and Anil Parihar. Since the eruption of militancy in the state of J&K they were the one who were fighting against the anti-national forces in Kishtwar, in particular and State of J&K in general.
Taking serious view of growing attacks of the terrorists on innocent people and security personnel, the members of the Association strongly condemned the militant attack that took place in Kishtwar in which Parihar brothers attained martyrdom.
During protest, while addressing the members of the Bar and Media BS Slathia, president J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Governor of the State to take stern action against such subversive elements to curb the menace of terrorism and to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the state.
Bharatiya Janta Party's District Kathua unit strongly condemned the killing of Anil Parihar and his brother. BJP unit torched effigy of Pakistan and alleged that a web of plan was behind the killings.
Prem Nath Dogra, District President BJP Kathua, Indu Lekha, Rekha Rani, Gopal Mahajan, Adv Vijay Gupta, Adv Shashi Paul, Naresh Sharma and several other office bearers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prem Nath Dogra condemned the heinous incident occurred last night at Kishtwar and said that a large number of militants were being neutralized by Indian Army in the last few months which has created a sense of panic among anti-national elements and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party has also expressed deep shock on the brutal assassination of two brothers namely, Anil Parihar and Ajit Parihar in their hometown, Kishtwar.
NPP Supremo in his tributes to the departed souls said that the loss of the two youthful citizens of India is highly tragic and unbearable while expressing condolences on his behalf and on behalf of the National Panthers Party while addressing the young lawyers association in New Delhi.
Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) President Rakesh Gupta has also condemned the cowardly act of killing civilians in Kishtwar Town yesterday by the militants.
Rakesh Gupta, President JCCI, while addressing a press conference conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased Anil Parihar and Ajit Parihar. He appealed to the Governor to order the high level enquiry into the incident and also order a massive operation to track down the killers.
Ram Singh Chauhan and Kuldeep Kumar Rao, the active members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice in a joint statement issued here have expressed shock over the assassination of Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar.
Condoling and paying homage to the two great soldiers, Col Prem Singh Dogra and Col Vijay Singh who passed away yesterday, the veterans led by the President J&K Ex-Services League Maj Gen Govardhan Singh Jamwal also conveyed their condolences on the tragic demise of great Dogras of Kishtwar Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar.
Inhabitants of Rajouri district have strongly condemned the barbaric act of killings of Anil Parihar, BJP state secretary and his brother Ajit Parihar by the alleged terrorists while they were on way to home in Kishtwar town after closing their shop.
Rajouri Ekta Committee comprising members from every religion have strongly condemned the killings of Parihar brothers and termed the act as 'inhumane & ill designed with rotten intentions of crating division in harmoniously living civil society of Jammu region'.
"It's our heartfelt appeal to every citizen to keep the cordial environment, mutual trust/ faith and respect intact while expressing their grief" said members.
Anjuman Ulema Ahl-e-Sunnat ,Rajouri headed by Moulana Mohammed Farooq Naemi , has strongly condemned the outrageous terror act in which both were killed by the alleged terrorists.
"Targeting innocent persons is a cowardly act and such elements will not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs of dividing the society on communal lines" said Moulanas.
BJP activists and office bearers including Nishu Gupta and Koushal Gupta held a protest demonstration near Tehsil Chowk, Rajouri. They condemned the killings, raised slogans against Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan and also burnt his effigy.
Bajrang Dal and VHP activists and leaders including Himanshu Bhargav, Karan Thakur also held protest at Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri and demanded immediate action against the perpetrators of the crime.
