Shri Ram Universal School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 3: The elementary wing of the Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu celebrated FORM MORNING (Annual Day) with great enthusiasm and Zeal.
The event started with lighting of the Lamp and the school coir presenting the school song. Thereafter, Rajvinder Kour (Elementary Teacher) and the Shriites welcomed the dignitaries and felicitated them with a plant as per the Shri ethos. The School Principal Ritula Singh spoke and gave an update on the development of the school.
The panel of dignitaries that consists of the Chief guest Kavinder Gupta Former Dy. CM J&K, Neeraj Anand President Chamber of Trader Federation, Dinesh Gupta Secretary Chamber of Trader Federation, Major KC Bhagat, Amit Gupta, Sanjeev Gupta (Trustee) Rajni Gupta (Director) of the school.
The Theme for the Form Morning was "Panchatantra"which was depicted and presented meticulously by the students of Badhte Kadam and Form-1. The students updated the parents about what is Panchatantra? Who wrote it? Why it is called Panchatantra? This was done by way of musicals, skits and presentations.
The students also showcased this by drawing characters from the theme and creative writing which was enjoyed by the parents and dignitaries alike.
The Chief Guest Kavinder Gupta was visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students. In his speech to the audience, he appreciated the choice of theme and its immense impact on the minds of the young ones. He was astonished to observe the young children narrating scripts with perfect articulation.
Neeraj Anand, Dinesh Gupta , Major KC Bhagat and Amit Gupta also extended best wishes to the management, staff and students.
Finally, the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Priyanka Sharma (Elementary Teacher). She thanked the esteemed guests for their presence acknowledged the efforts of the students, Teachers and supporting staff .This was followed by the National Anthem as a tribute to our Nation.
The Management Sanjeev Gupta and Rajni Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers .They also thanked all the dignitaries and the parents for gracing the event.
