Curfew relaxed for 2 hours in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Nov 4: The Curfew in Kishtwar District was today relaxed for two hours in phased manner after high level security committee comprises of senior police officials, officials from administration and intelligence agencies gives a nod for the same.
As per the details available with Early Times, large number of people came out of their homes to purchase eatables and medicanes, beside several people who got stucked at various places also left for the home.
Speaking to Early Times, a government employee who had deputed for polling duty as Returning Officer for Panchayat elections said that he and other employees assign with poll duty had to suffer due to non availability of the vehicles. He said that they had to travel around 10-12 KM before they manage to board the Vehicle.
Another employee said that due to Curfew in Kishtwar town and it's adjoining areas, they were not allowed to enter Kishtwar for nearly three hours amid heavy cold weather added that they only manage to reach home only after they manage to get curfew pass from the District Administration which was sent to them through another employee.
Meanwhile strick Curfew continue to be in place in Kishtwar District following the killings of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar.
Despite snowfall last night, the CRPF, Army, JK Police along with duty magistrates continue to patrol the curfew bound areas of the District to maintain high standards of law and order.
Amid freezing temperature, the troops were seen vigilant while on duty whole night as regular announcement from Vehicle were being made regarding the Curfew in the town.
The officials said that further course of the action on part of further relaxation in curfew will be taken after reviewing the situation a fresh. The authorities however seems non committal with regard to lifting on e-curfew as Internet services has been shutdown in the District soon after the incident took place.
