Jammu, Nov 9: Ignoring the directions regarding updation of official websites, the Sericulture department's website still shows Ghulam Nabi lone as its minister.
The website reveals that there has been no updation since 2017 as Muhmmad Afzal Bhat is the Commissioner Secretary of the department while Manzoor Ahmed lone has assigned charge a few months back. According to the website, Mir Tariq Ali is Director of the department, who, was transfer and posted to other department months back.
The website also shows five links including Orders/Circulars, Statutory Rules, Allocations, Schemes &Incentives and Presentations but astoundingly not a single link opened if you single or double clicked.

It is very surprising the department had appointed an official and designated on the post of In-charge website but the condition of website clear shows that the official is withdrawing salary without any work.
"Last month General Administrative Department had issued a circular, directing all the government departments and its other organizations to update websites immediately", sources said, adding that it has come to the notice of authorities that official websites of various government departments are not being properly updated, thereby presenting a bad image of the government and its functioning. |
