Poonch, Nov 19: Despite blanket ban on the attachment of teachers by the state administration, many teachers in 11 education zones of the district have been stuck to the schemes incharge under SSA and mid day meals giving a dent to education system, sources said here today
They said that all the attachment of teachers stand cancelled vide government order but several teachers in the district have been showing lackadaisical approach and are allegedly stall sticked to the in charge of various government schemes in schools including SSA and Mid day meals despite the order that they should join at their original place of postings, they added
Several teachers have been deputed in the zonal education officers offices since years as in charges of several schemes but despite detachment order they were still working there giving a big dent to the education system in the district which has been facing many short comings by these attachments They should go to their original place of posting as teaching staff said a social activist Mushtaq Ahmed of the area. The over stay of the teachers not only was the violation of rules but also harmful for the students who were reading in these institutions he further added
While talking to Chief Education Officer Poonch Mushtaq Ahmed on the issue told Early Times that committees have been constituted to look into the attachment and simultaneously detachment of the teachers and will report to this office within a stipulated time frame. He said all the teachers have to be at their original place of postings and anyone who violates the norm has to face the music CEO added |
