JAMMU, Nov. 21: KC Cricket Club and Simula Cricket Club registered wins and enters in the next stage of the league round of the "7th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Club"
In todays match Ramesh Kotwal SP Headquarters Jammu was the Chief Guest who was introduced with the participating teams and they conveyed their best wishes to the participating players for their bright future and best performances in forthcoming matches.
Earlier in the first match KC Cricket Club defeated Haryana Cricket Club by 26 runs . Batting first KC Cricket Club scored 156 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 over. Jatin scored 42 runs, Ankush Bandral scored 37 runs and Manik Gupta made 28 runs. From bowling side Anil and Rahul took 2 wicket each while Hemant took 1 wicket.
In reply Haryana cricket Club could not chased the target and managed to score 125 runs 17.3 overs for the loss of all wickets thus lost the match by 26 runs. Ashish scored 25 runs ,Shubam 19 and Johny made 18 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side, Manik, Sarvan and Kunal took 2 wickets each while Bhalwan, Nitish and Vishal took 1 wicket each . Jatin was adjudged as Man of the match.
In another first quarter Final match played at KC Sports ground, Simula Club defeated KC Sports Club by 7 wickets . Batting first KC Sports Club scored 142 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs with Vishal 55 runs, Arjun Choudhary scored 26 runs and Atul 17 runs. From bowling Side Sahil took 2 wickets , Raman and Ritik took 1 wicket each . In reply Simula Club chased the target in 17.6 overs for the loss of 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Manjeet with 44 runs, Satish 43 runs and Shashi 27 runs were the main scorers. From Bowling side Arjun, Achal and Vijay took 1 wicket each. Manjeet was adjudged as man of the match for his alround performance.
The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Sanju and Vijay. Tomm fixture : Haryana Cricket Academy and Saffron Cricket Club at Parade Ground at 9 am , whereas in second quarterfinal Vishal Cricket Club shall lock horns with Samar Cricket Club at KC Sports Ground at 1.00 pm informed by Rajesh Gill.
