BJYM slams delay in arresting culprits
Killing of Parihar brothers
11/22/2018 10:24:05 PM

Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Nov 22: Three weeks after the killings of its state secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar Parihar, the BJP on Thursday spoke out on the killings and threatened mass agitation if the administration fails to bring the culprits to book.
The BJP's youth wing BJYM's state general secretary Ashish Sharma in a statement expressed concern over the delay in arresting the culprits as a result of which "resentment is prevailing among the youths of Kishtwar."
Sharma said the killers have not been identified yet. Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar were killed by some unidentified gunmen at Tapal Gali, Kishtwar on November 1. Since then no breakthrough has been achieved in the investigation into the killings.
Sharma said that it is "total failure of Kishtwar's civil and police administration who have failed in bringing the culprits before the public." He asked how is it possible that in spite of curfew in the area culprits escaped from the town.
He also said that enough time has been taken by the agencies and administration, but they have failed to produce any results till date. He warned the administration that if the culprits are not brought before the public immediately, then BJYM will come on the road.
"Besides, we will start a strong and massive agitation against the administration, and if any incident occurs during the same period, the administration will be responsible for that," said Sharma.
