Congress takes lead in Panchayat elections in Inderwal by winning 55 seats out of 70 seats

Kishtwar, Nov 25: The Inderwal Constituency of Kishtwar District divided into Kishtwar and Doda Districts has thrown a one side results in favor of Congress party wherein Congress party so far manage to win 55 seats of Sarpanches out of 70 results which were declared till today while the result on around half dozen Panchayats is still awaited while at the same time BJP, PDP & NC manage to win less than one dozen seats together.
As per the details available with "Early Times" the party win 11 seats out of 14 seats in Bhunzwah & Jakyas block in first phase of election followed by 15 seats from Mughal Miadan and Inderwal Blocks where in the result of one seat is still awaited after booth capturing incident while the election on another Panchayat has been stayed by the court.
Congress won seven seats in Khara block of Gundow wherein Congress candidate win from Kencha Bitola (Jaffer Hussain Malik), Malanoo - (Zafferullah Magray), Batogra (Haji Ghulam Hussain), Drought - (Wife of Chowdhary Farooq Ahmed), Kansoo ( Wife of Ram Krishan), Tanta (Zahida Begum) and Batoli - (Chowdhary Noor Maey), while Independent candidate Mohammad Aslam win from Bathri Panchayat and from Goila Trankhle - Rehamtullah Butt of PDP win the Panchayat election.
In Thatri block, Congress wins 4 seats out of 8 seats which include Thathri A - Mohammad Sadiq, Thathri B - Hablal, Kathava - Wife of Noor Mohammad & Kandoth - Vimal Kumar.
In Block Drabshala, Congress win 11 seats of Sarpanches out of 19 seats which include Shandari - Farooq Ahmed, Hiloor - Arif Hussain, Bugrana - Zahid Hussain, Badhat - Suraj Prakash, Drabshalla - Daughter in law of Shafi Zargar, Chamoti - Mohammad Yusuf, Balgran - Ghulam Mohammad Masoodi, Londhri - Ved Prakash, Karool C - Ghulam Mohammad Kohli, Poora Chandali - wife of Bashir Ahmed & Barhoti - Subash Chander.
5 seats including Karool A, Ghan, Tatani, Khori and Butya Churyana had been won by the BJP and Kukerwas by an Independent while PDP backed Molvi Irshad won Karol B,
Muneera Begum Wife of Abdul Rehman Kashmiri PDP zonal president Inderwal won Sarpanch election from panchayat Nandna Thathri & PDP backed Rafiqa Begum won Sarpanch election from panchayat Tatani Saroor.
