Kathua, Dec 9: Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs) today sent a memorandum of their demands to Governor Satya Pal Malik and Chief Secretary B.V.R Subrahmanyam. While addressing a meeting at Kathua, the representatives of the District Kathua Agriculture Technocrats Association Sanjeev Verma, Joginder Singh, Ravi Slaria, Manmohan Sharma, Bharat Vikas, Rajinder Singh Raju, Subdesh Khajuria, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Roshan Choudhary urged the Governor Jammu and Kashmir and Chief Secretary personally to look into the genuine and long pending issues of the Agriculture Extension Assistants who are working in the Agriculture Department w.e.f 1st April 2007 (including in both forms temporary and permanent). About the issues such as inclusion of (R-E-Z temporary service period) 7,8 and 9 years of service with a grade 4280 at par JAEO w.e.f 1st April 2007, are clearly briefed to Governor with a ray of hope to get addressed all issues in order to secure the future of AEAs who are already being regularized by the state government with apathetic approach when they are touching almost 40 to 50 in age line, they said. |
