DPS Nagbani holds Hindi Quiz Competition

JAMMU, Dec 12: With an aim to promote and spread the culture of Hindi language, Hindi Quiz competition was organized in DPS Nagbani today for the students of VI to IX.
The quiz competition was designed to test the knowledge of the students in Hindi language and literature. The competition was comprised of two sessions i.e. one written and one oral. During the competition, the students were instructed not to use English words, which made the competition interesting and entertaining. An interactive session was also organized in the end where sharing of views and experiences was held making maximum use of Hindi language. Students expressed their views on the importance of Hindi language and said that Hindi being national language should be used by choosing good words.
The students enjoyed the quiz competition a lot as they were able to enhance their knowledge through the question answer session.
They skillfully answered the questions, though some of the questions were very tricky. The teams tried to answer the questions with confidence which were put forth to them.
When the teams gave the right answer for the intriguing and exciting questions correctly, the audience clapped and encouraged them. The audience also got the chance to participate as special audience round was also organized. The quiz was very informative and knowledgeable for the participants as well as for the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz thoroughly. The quiz was conducted by Sonia Sharma the Hindi teacher under the guidance of Khushboo Shaminotra, overall Incharge of the programme.
The Principal of the school appreciated the enthusiasm and tremendous talent of the students. He said that quiz competitions not only provide exciting and thrilling times but also help in the displaying of knowledge. He concluded by saying that Hindi is our national language and we should always feel proud to use the language as much as possible.
