| Villagers protest against PMGSY over worst road condition | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: The local villagers of Kulwanta staged protest against worst condition of under construction road of PMGSY at village Kulwanta to Bari Ladana in Ramnagar Tehsil.
The residents alleged that they are totally depended on this road for daily commute and suffer a lot due bad condition of the road. They said that the work of road was left midway by the contractor which remained incomplete.
The road work was stated under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), at the cost of Rs 789.79 Lakh on 09-12-2017. People lodged complaints to the PMGSY department and even on Mari Sadak App. The patients are the main victim of this dilapidated road. Even the common man can't walk and one can imagine the problems being faced by the sick old person, pregnant lady while visiting to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar and DH Udhampur there are large pits on the road. |
