JKFA expresses concern over merger of two Deptts | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) has expressed concern over the merger of J&K State Sports Council (only Advisory Body on Sports & Games in State) with Youth Services & Sports department. It was all discussed in a meeting held under the presidentship of Z.A Thakur President JKFA, where in all the members resolved that the Governor should clear the air on the issue. "The JKSSC caters to the needs of students as well as non-student youth of the State and has over 57 recognized and over 22 un-recognized duly elected Sports Associations and organizing their activities regularly & most sincerely. All The Associations have their own Constitution and bye Laws, which are totally in line with that of their parent Sports Federations of the Country & also the I.O.A", they said. |
