Jammu, Jan 12: As a part of its health activity in communities, J&K State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society one of the largest humanitarian organisation working in the State organised a free dental check-up camp on Saturday, at Pohloo (Gujarpati), Brien (remote area of Srinagar District) to provide free oral healthcare support to residents of area. The dental camp was organised in-collaboration with Dr. Nadia Majeed, Floss and Gloss Dental Clinic, Brien Nishat. More than 130 people from Pohloo and nearby area were benefited from this noble initiative. On the directions of Shafi Rather, General Secretary, IRCS-J&K State, a team of 15 members including doctors, Paramedical staff, Red Cross staff and Volunteers from J&K State Branch rendered their services in the camp. Patients underwent dental checkups by the team of specialist doctors and were given consultations and medicine free of cost. |
