SS appeals Governor not to hold Assembly elections | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 12: Shivsena leaders of J&K state appealed to the President of India to direct the state Governor Satya Pal Malik to not to hold assembly elections in J&K state till the assembly seats for Jammu becomes equal to that of Kashmir. On the directions of State President Dimpy Kohli, Shiv Sena will hold weekly "Nukkad Sabha" to fulfill their demands and to aware the people on delimitation. Speaking to the gathering at Gandi Nagar today the State Gen Secretary Manish Sahni said that from last seven decades Jammuties had always been victimized by every Govt. in the state to get their due share. First sabha was held today at Gandhi Nagar where Manish Sahni said Jammu people welcomed and participated and said that the elections will held only when seats of Jammu assembly will become equal to that of Kashmir. Or if the assembly election will forcefully imposed they request and appeal the Jammuties to press NOTA button. Sahni further said that Jammuties have to depend upon the Kashmir leaders for their even their fundamental rights. He further blamed that the politician of the state and Center divided the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their political benefits. He said even the BJP after getting full support in Center and from Jammu peoples not raise this demand and National Conference who is now making false promises as in past , they were the drafters of the bill which states that delimitation can not be done till 2026. |
