Panun Kashmir lambasts Farooq Abdullah for advocating talks with separatists | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 12: Panun Kashmir lambasted former CM and NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah for advocating resumption of talks with Hurritat (separatists) in Kashmir for the resolution of Kashmir issue. Dr. Abdullah`s remarks are unwarranted and unjustified. In a meeting of Panun Kashmir held in Jammu the President Panun Kashmir Vijay Bhat advised Dr. Abdullah from restraining himself from such statements which are misleading and vague. The party President said that these pseudo secular and pseudo-nationalists always acts contrary to the decision taken by Central govt. Panun Kashmir Convenor Ravinder Jalali reminded Dr. Abdullah that the Kashmir problem is not a political problem as projected by him and Hurriyat but is a communal problem based on the extension of two nation theory of which Pakistan is a part. It is the prerogative of the centre to decide about, to whom they want to talk or not to talk. Moreover the terms and conditions of talks will be set up by the Govt and not Hurriyat. said Ravinder Jalali. We would like to ask Dr Abdullah if Huriyat represent the Kashmir`, then whom they (NC) or other mainstream represent? Kashmir does not represent entire J&K State. It is rhetoric on the part of Abdullahs, to suggest for holding talks with all the stake holders to Kashmir Issue with out naming the stake holders, which is misleading and vague. They should come clear about who are the stake holders and it cannot be only a section of a few affluent Kashmiri Muslims and separatists. |
