Early Times Report

Rajouri, Jan 20: The gross violation of transfer rules has been going on unabated in YS&S Department where two Physical Education Teachers of zone Hathal in Tehsil Sunderbani of district Rajouri have been enjoying their overstay at one place for decade. Sources told Early Times that the two Physical Education Teachers, one of them a female, have been posted at one place for over a decade at their home panchayat. An official in the Department, preferring anonymity informed that whenever they were transferred, they got the orders deferred by using their influence. The other PE teachers in the Sunderbani tehsil expressed their resentment over their stay at one place and said that there are many teachers who want to be posted in their home zone also but these two teachers have negated their chances. "As per rules, all government teachers should be transferred after completion of two years of their stay at one place but in this case rukes are being violated for years with help of some corrupt officials, who are helping them against some considerations and depriving other teachers to get their home zone posting," they informed. The Physical Education teachers of tehsil Sunderbani have appealed the Governor to look into the matter and stop this brazen violation of transfer policy.
