ACB produced challan against the then Divisional Manager, SFC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 21: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kashmir today presented challan against public servant (then Divisional Manager, SFC (Extraction South) Harnag Anantnag) before the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Anantnag. Spokesman said that Challan of case under FIR No. 40/2015 Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir (now police station Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kashmir) against accused public servants namely Peer Manzoor Ahmad Shah the then Divisional Manager, SFC ( Extraction South ) Harnag Anantnag has been produced before the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Anantnag. Spokesman further said that the instant case was registered in police station VOK, now police station ACB Kashmir on the outcome of verification conducted by this bureau into the allegations that the suspect Peer Manzoor Ahmad, then divisional Manager SFC Extraction Division South Harnag Anantnag had demanded and accepted Rs. 5000 from the complainant namely Asif Shafi Shah of Hazratbal Payeen Anantnag, contractor by profession as illegal gratification for submitting favourable report to the Managing Director SFC required for release of payment of the complainant due to him on account of transportation work of timber. "During the verification the above mentioned facts disclosed cognizable offences committed by the accused public servant therefore, a case under FIR No. 40/2015 under section 5( 2) JK PC Act SVT-2006 and 4-A of JK PC Amendment Act 2014 was registered in police station Vigilance Organization, Kashmir now police station Anti Corruption Bureau Kashmir and investigation was taken up. The investigation of the case was concluded as proved against the accused Public Servant. The Charge Sheet of the case was produced today before the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption Anantnag. |
