Amritsar, Jan 27: A young patient of 49 Yrs age came to Amandeep Medicity with complaints of breathlessness on effort along with occasional chest pain. He was suffering from excruciating Chest Pain while breathing. On examining this this patient Dr. Yadvinder Singh, Head & Director, Cardiology Department, Amandeep Medicity, advised him Coronary Angiography. Angiography revealed that the patient was having critical TVD (Triple Vessel Disease).
Dr. Bhawna Singh, HOD, Cardiac & Thoracic Vascular Surgery Department, evaluated the patient and CABG (Bypass Surgery) was planned but considering young age (49 Yrs) of the patient, Total Arterial Revascularization was planned because longevity of an Arterial Graft is much more than a venous graft.
Patient recovered very well and even his respiratory support was also removed just within two hours after surgery. The patient is absolutely stable now and is being discharged on 6th postoperative day.
