| KPS pays homage to Punjab Kesari | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 28: Students of Kartar Public School, Barnoti held a special assembly to commemorate the birthday of Lala Lajpat Rai, popularly known as the 'Punjab Kesari - the Lion of Punjab.' They recalled the pivotal role played by Lajpat Rai in the freedom movement. Patriotic songs and speeches were delivered. Lala Lajpat Rai born in 1865 and died in 1928. Harpreet Kaur, Secretary-cum-Principal paid homage to the tallest leader of the Indian Freedom Movement and implored the students to cultivate patriotic ideals by drawing inspiration from the legends and icons of history. |
