| Absconder arrested after 4 years | | |

Jammu, Feb 3: Gangyal police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since long after commission of crime.
Police spokesman said that acting on specific information developed by SI Nayat Ali-SHO Gangyal, a Police team of Gangyal police station headed by SI Hazara Singh was deputed to Haryana.
"The team conducted raid at Azad Mandi, Riwadi and arrested one person namely Rakash Kumar of 110 Aanaz Mandi Riwadi Haryana", said spokesman adding that he was involved in a case under FIR No. 109/2014 under section 420 of RPC registered at police station Gangyal and was evading his arrest from last four years.
The court has already issued warrant under section 512 CrPC against him. He will be produced in court of law tomorrow and warrant will be executed. |
