Adbi Kunj holds mushaira to commemorate R-Day

Jammu, Feb 4: To commemorate 70th Republic Day, Adbi Kunj organized multilingual Mushaira, here today in which various literary luminaries have participated. Adbi Kunj also organized a flag hoisting ceremony. While extending the formal welcome to all Sham Talib President Adbi Kunj stated that Adbi Kunj has been holding this composite Mushaira annually for more than 44 years to celebrate Republic Day. The Mushaira was presided over by Aarash Dalmotra Chairman Adbi Kunj. In his address, he said that Urdu is one of the richest language in our country, which has a strong tradition of poetry with regard to communal harmony and togetherness of different identities of the State in particular. A renowned poet from Kashmir Bashir-Ul-Haq was the special Guest of the Mushaira. In his address, he said that Adbi Kunj was doing a commendable job for promotion of Urdu with its regular weekly programme with the friendship of other respected languages. He made a special mention of the role of Adbi Kunj towards the promotion of literary activities since 44 years. In the composite Mushaira, poets specially recited their patriotic poems with other Kalams. The poets who participated in the meet include Aarash Dalmotra, Bashir-Ul-Haq, Malik Singh Wafa, Raj Kamal, Bishan Dass Khak, Santosh Shah Nadan, Babli Sharma, Uttam Singh Rahi, Jatender Bhasin, Sanjeev Kumar, Saparsh Sharma, Chaman Sagoch, Ved Uppal, Rajeev Kumar, A.S.Gupta, Sham Talib, Tayieb Bharti, Romesh Rahi. In the last, Adbi Kunj condoles the sad demise of renowned poet Mohan Lal Bhardwaj (Komal).
