Early Times Report REASI, Feb 5: Reasi police claimed to have arrested two thieves and recovered house breaking tools from their possession. Police spokesman said that during the intervening night of 04/05 of February while the Police Party was patrolling at Bus Stand Reasi, suspicion grew when the dogs started barking, the alert police personnel on duty immediately swung into action and started searching the nearby vicinity and found two persons who were concealing their identity. "During their personal search house breaking tools like pliers, iron rods, scissors, cutter, hammer etc. were recovered from their possession for which they had no reasonable justification", said spokesman adding that next day in the morning Satish Kumar a shopkeeper reported in Police Station Reasi that someone has attempted to break open his shop. Spokesman further said that when the CCTV footage of his shop was perused, it was revealed that the 02 men already apprehended by Police had attempted to break open his shop. Identities of both the accused persons have been established as Kaku Ram and Munna Kumar both residents of Panassa Thakarakote. In this regard, a case under FIR No. 24/2019 under sections 379 and 511 of RPC was registered at Reasi police station and investigation set into motion. |
