Omar, Mehbooba deserve Bharat Ratana for respecting institutions?
Pot calling kettle black!

Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 4: Former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti while expressing solidarity with Mamta Banerjee have accused the central agencies of hijacking institutions for political goals.
In her tweet, Mehbooba Mufti said: "In solidarity with @MamataOfficial. History stands testament to how J&K has faced the wrath of Central agencies. It's disheartening to see how institutions are being hijacked only to discredit political opponents. Doesn't bode well for the Centre-state relationship," Mehbooba tweeted.
A similar tweet was posted by Omar Abdullah. He wrote: "Just spoke to @MamataOfficial didi to convey the support of @JKNC_ as she sits in dharna. The use of the CBI as a political tool has crossed all limits as has the Modi government's misuse of institutions. The former CM having such little regard for India's federalism is shocking," Omar tweeted on Sunday night.
Misuse of institutions by politicians must be condemned in strongest possible words but someone needs to ask these former Chief Ministers how they used government institutions when they were in power.
An analyst said that "Both Omar and Mehbooba are pretending as if they are saints and they never misused the government institutions. If it's so they should be awarded Bharat Ratana for the commendable job they have done. Just peeping into the past will tell it all. From Information department to Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been controlled by the people who have ruled the state. Omar and Mebooba are no exceptions. Pot is calling kettle black!"
It's in place to mention here that Mamta Banerjee is sitting on a protest in Kolkata against the CBI's attempt to question Kolkata police chief Rajeev Kumar in connection with a scam.
