Shiv Sena flays BJP for its failure to fulfill poll promises
2/6/2019 10:28:26 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray, J&K unit, on today lambasted the State BJP unit for its failure to fulfill its poll promises.
Briefing media persons here on Wednesday, Dimpy Kohli, State President Shiv Sena and General Secretary Manish Sahni said that BJP hardly fulfilled any promises made with the people during the 2014 Assembly elections.
Kohli said BJP has failed to fulfill even a single promise made by them to their Jammu electorates in their vision document, the mandated BJP leaders promoted the Kashmir centric agenda in utter disregard for the sentiments of people of Jammu region.
Kohli mentioned that the issue of Article 370 and 35A were pushed into the oblivion. "The slogans on grant of PRCs to West Pak Refuges and to children of daughters of J&K married outside the State also met the same fate. During the BJP regime, false FIRs have been registered against valiant jawans," said Kohli.
"The people of Jammu region were again cheated over the issue of declaration of holiday on 23rd September, the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh despite it being a commitment of the BJP. Again, the delusional plans of Artificial Tawi Lake, Smart City, Dogra Heritage projects and beautification of historical Raghunath Bazaar failing to take off have caused huge disenchantment amongst the people of Jammu," he added.
Kohli called upon the party workers to intensify its Nukkad programme by visiting each and every corner of Jammu region seeking public support to oppose, expose and finally depose the BJP for having betrayed the collective sentiment of people of Jammu region.
