| Shiv Nagar residents allege irregularities in PDD | | |

VIJAYPUR, Feb 8: The inhabitants of Shiv Nagar locality of Vijaypur have leveled serious allegations of irregularities against the Power Development Department (PDD). They alleged that the transformers installed by the department in their area burst within hours. They said that the department is looting the state exchequer by procuring sub-standard equipments adding that even the matter was taken up before the higher officials but they did not take it seriously. The people of Shiv Nagar urged the Governor to take action against those who are responsible for such gross negligence. |
