Only Congress can bring state out of turmoil created by BJP-PDP: Dr Manohar

Jammu, Feb 9: Former minister and President DCC kathua Dr Manohar Lal Sharma while addressing monthly public meeting of block kandi at dinga amb today termed the era of previous BJP- PDP government as black chapter in the history of the state and said only congress party can give a stable government in the state and bring the state out of present turmoil created by previous government.
While lambasting on previous government he said it was an unholy alliance between BJP-PDP which only created the further situation of confusion and chaos in the state and said only for the sake of power BJP compromised with the sentiments of the people of the Jammu.
He said that during last 4 years state was plunged thrice under governor rule due to ideological difference of previous collation partners and said the government never worked for development of the state and instead indulged in diving communal masses in their respective regions. He said major highlights of the BJP-PDP governments were unemployment, Pending wages to daily wagers, Non regularization of daily wagers, Stoppage of the ongoing projects, Price hike of essential commodities and urged upon the people of the state to vote for congress in upcoming elections and said only congress party has the vision for equal development of all the 3 regions of the state irrespective of religion. He further said that congress has always pressed for communal harmony, peace and brotherhood among the people of the state and warned BJP to stop giving nationalism certificates and dividing people on the communal lines.
While speaking on the occasion Sarpanch Kulbhushan Singh and Surinder Abrol said during the tenure of Dr Manohar Lal Sharma a lot of development took place in Billawar assembly, especially in Kandi belt where Dinga Amb was given status of tehsil, new blocks were created, New Public health centre, Higher Secondary School, Tube wells, Dugwells and also many small road projects were allotted and completed during his tenure in their area but in last 4 years local MLA and MP did not initiated even a single developmental project in the area.
They also criticizes the previous BJP government for failing to start work on 4 lane Dyalachak to challan road and said they have betrayed the people of the area by making false promises only to garner the votes from the public.
Also during the meeting a delegation of khair Farmers met Dr Sharma and apprised him about the issue of their pending payment against their crops since 1-2 years. Dr sharma warned the administration to take issue of payment to Khair farmers on priority basis failing to which will lead to mass agitation in the area.
