| JKGPAOA organizes meeting, demands DPC of JAEOs | | |

JAMMU, Feb 10: The J&K Graduate Promotee Agriculture Officer's Association (JKGPAOA) under the chairmanship of its president Raghubir Anthal organized a meeting at Agriculture Complex Talab Tillo in which members/representatives of JKGPAOA, NGAGA, JAKATA, retired Agriculture officers (All Agriculture Graduate Promotee officers/officials) participated. It was decided with one voice that every participating union will fight for their common first and foremost demand of DPC of JAEOs cadre to Class-VII gazetted cadre as per their quota laid in the rules on overall cadre strength. It was emphasized that conduction of DPC is the only gate way for finalization of seniority and further promotional avenues in favour of all graduate technocrats. But due to non-seriousness of authorities, violations of rule position, faulty temporary promotion and multi post charge assignment to single officer is prevailing for last more than three decades has damaged the very cause of department and ignored the welfare of farmers. Because the temporarily promoted blue eyed officers remained busy in satisfying themselves and their bosses only and caliber of large workforce remained underutilized. It was highlighted in the meeting that against 642 number of direct recruits only 78 VEWs/JAEOs are cleared through DPC/PSC in thirty years. Prominent who spoke on the occasion included Des Raj, Ayaz Reshi, Sudhir Manhas and others. |
