Irony! Raj Bhavan gags Jammu, allows Kashmiri Government employee to spew venom

Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 18: Even as curfew in Jammu gagged the nationalist people of their right to mourn the martyrdom of brave jawans in Kashmir, the Raj Bhawan has apparently given a "free hand" to government employees from Valley to provoke entire nation though "defense of separatist sentiment" on the national media.
For the past few days a gang of government servants from Kashmir has been active on the social media to add fuel to the Pakistan-backed so called Kashmir cause, some of the said employees who draw salary from state treasury have a field day on the national media channels. In one such case, the government servant from the Education department has been coming on TV debates to demoralize the nationalist sentiment. The man who is introduced as Mushtaq Sikander in the TV debates is believed to be a government school teacher hailing from Srinagar.
Sources said the said person has been given permission by the government to attend TV debates where so-called "Kashmir cause" is to be defended.
The government servant in question has been seen speaking against the nationalist sentiment and openly defends the so-called "Kashmir cause."
Teachers from the Education department of Kashmir said they were shocked to see their colleuagues coming on the national media and speaking against the government. "How can government servants be allowed to speak against the government. Ye Jis Thali Mein Khate Hein Us He Mein Tchaidh Karte Hein," said a police official on the condition of anonymity.
The government employees from Kashmir have been openly speaking against the government when the Jammu has been facing curfew for the last four days and people, especially Dogras have been asked by the police not to speak even a word. "We the people Jammu had been mourning the martyrdom of the brave jawans in Kashmir but in response such a strict curfew was imposed that we couldn't even get milk for kids or medicines for elders," said Praveen Kumar of old Jammu.
The people of Jammu said the provocation from Kashmir in support for Pakistan is adding to the tension in the state. "What is most unfortunate is that the Raj Bhawan has given a free hand even to government servants from Kashmir to add fuel to the fire through national media," said a lecturer working at Jammu University.
"The problem in Jammu and Kashmir has been that those who speak in favor of India have to face police batons whereas those who speak in favor of the so called Kashmir cause are given a free hand," the KU employee added.
