Winning elections sole priority of BJP: AAP
2/23/2019 11:57:09 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 23: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir has alleged that winning elections was the sole priority of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).
It is quite unfortunate situation for the nation when more than 45 CRPF and Army personals were killed due to recent terror Pulwama attack and more painful is the way by which things are being handled by the Modi govt. that claims to be most sensitive and patriotic, said, Deep Singh of AAP.
Firstly, it is quite demoralizing to observe the total non serious behaviour of PM Modi who while least bothering about the gravity of the situation, preferred to attend his number of inaugural occasions, shooting for Discovery channel and election meeting at Bihar whereas he should have cancelled his such programs for at least three days as national mourn, Deep Singh further expressed.
After the said unfortunate incident, whole nation was in shock where both peaceful and violent reactions were noticed and at such stage, PM should have behaved very responsibly but nothing such response was noticed, he added.
Secondly, it is time for Modi govt. to work on corrections on both technical & political front, instead of misleading & vague statements, press note stated. As a corrective measure, decision related to air lifting of Para-military personals was taken which is quite appreciable but at the same time, loud but confused statements were issued by the GOI and the state governor Malik on security withdrawal of Hurriyat leaders, Singh added.
He further said that a number of separatist leaders were already in jail at Delhi from the last more than one and half year, Yasin Malik had refused for any security and Geelani is already under house arrest and in that case, was it not the duty of Modi govt. to make a clear statement on the nature of security withdrawal?
In fact, Modi govt. & state Governor are being blamed for misleading the people on the issue for cashing sympathy of masses in view of coming Loksabha elections, he further added. Similarly, senior minister of Modi govt. made another vague statement related to reroute the Punjab Rivers' water to put in river Yamuna as revenge against Pakistan, a statement just to appease the angry masses for fetching votes, he added.
