JAMMU, Feb 23: After suffering a series of organizational jolts, the PDP today suffered another setback in district Kishtwar after its 27 founder members resign en-mass from the party. As per the details available with the "Early Times", the disgruntled PDP leaders held a meeting at Kishtwar under the leadership of senior leader Saif-ud-din Sheikh in which majority of the 27 basic members of the PDP participated or addressed it via telephone and expressed their displeasure towards the party leadership for ignoring them. As per the handout issued by these party leaders, it stated that they are affiliated with the party since last 12-15 years adding but the party has failed to come up to the expectations of the people. They said that PDP not only failed them but also fails the general public as the party leadership didn't fulfill its promises made with the people of Kishtwar. Among those who today resigned from the PDP in Kishtwar District include Saif-ud-Din Sheikh (Sangrambata), Mohammad Ashraf Kichloo, Haji Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Haji Ghulam Haider Giri (Poochal), Ghulam Haider Malik (Marwah), Ghulam Mohammad Lone (Patimhala), Gowsawon Ram (Padder), Tariq Hussain Sheikh (Sangrambata), Bagh Hussain Chowdhary, Abdul Majeed Chowdhary, Mohammad Rajaab Dar (Bandrina), Mistri Farooq Ahmed Bagban, Mohammad Akbar Shah, Yasir Hussain Sheikh, Mudassir Hussain, Gulnawaz Butt, Ghulam Qadir Shah, Ghulam Rasool Sheikh, Ghulam Ali Sheikh (Melan), Ghulam Ali Darzi (Cheerhar), Ikhlaq Ahmed Kripak, Najam Din Chowdhary, Mohammad Akbar Butt (Berwar), Mohammad Ramzan Ahanger (Dool), Ajaiz Ahmed Giri (Poochal), Azad Hussain (Poochal) and Shahid Hussain Giri. |
