Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 2: J&K Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 250th Saturday Series Musical Play "Naman", dedicated to Indian Martyrs who scarified their lives for defense of motherland in collaboration Sangam Tru Art Production at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu. The function was inaugurated after lighting the Traditional Lamp by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity ,Government of India, Dr.Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K, Dr.Tara Singh Charak , Former Deputy Director ,Health Department, J&K Government, J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government, were the Guests of Honor. The programme commenced with welcome song. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Lauded the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan -(NGO) for underlining the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state in generating awareness among the masses about various social evils through Musical Play / Theatre / Drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. The programme commenced with National Anthem "Jan Gan Man" and "Gan tantar Hamara Kirtiman", the patriotic items special designed by the artistes like "Ham Sab Ek Hain" "Suno- Suno Bharat Vasio", "Uncha Rahe Tiranga", "Ekta Ekta Ka Diya" "ya phir tiranga lahara ke aaoong, ya to tirange mein lipata chala aaunga, lekin vaapas zaroor aaoonga". The "NAMAN" Musical Play on the life of soldier which was Written, Produced and Directed by M L Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal. |
