| SMVD University holds 'SAMVAAD' in TATVA-2019 | | |  Early Times Report
Katra, Mar 3: TATVA-2019, the management fest, at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, held "Kaffberry-SAMVAAD". The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Chief Strategy Officer at TRESCON Ltd. Banguluru. Mr. Singh demonstrated experience of working in events service industry. The guest speaker inspired the audience by talking on the topic 'Emerging Technology & Career Opportunities'. He made the audience aware about the emergence of technology in data explosion. He also talked about Big Data which worked upon data mining and data visualisation. He illustrated the transfer of machine learning into artificial intelligence through various examples. He quoted that new age was working upon Internet of Things (IOT) to make everything internet driven. He gave an idea of emerging technologies in different sectors and the early adopters from these sectors are Banking and Financial, Healthcare, Telecom and various search engines. Singh covered the areas of innovation and collaboration for higher happiness index. He highlighted about e-governance in today's world. He put some light upon Artificial Intelligence and its use in future. He acquainted the audience with Sophia, the social humanoid robot developed by a company named Hanson Robotics. Mr. Singh concluded his speech by giving the overview of his venture, TRESCON and he focused upon the need to be aware of Emerging Technologies in the coming times for the future leaders and entrepreneurs.
The event has been an interactive and informative session for the young minds. A token of gratitude was presented to the speaker by Dr. Supran k Sharma, and Dr. Saurabh, Faculty Coordinator of TATVA-2019. |
