JKAACL organizes cultural programme at Shiv Khori

Jammu, Mar 5: J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Tourism Department and Shrine Board Shiv Khori, District Reasi organised a cultural programme at Shiv Khori. Indu Kanwal Chib, Deputy Commissioner was the Chief Guest whereas Rajinder Kumar Sharma Addl. Deputy Commissioner was the guest of honour on this occasion. Popinder Singh Paras Editor Sheeraza JKAACL was also present on the dais. Sarpanch Rajinder Singh and other district level officers were present in the said programme. Thousands of devotees witnessed the programme. While welcoming the august gathering Rajinder Sharma, executive member of Shrine Board said that it is our duty to celebrate all the programmes jointly by showing brotherhood and respect. He congratulated everyone on the eve of Maha Shivratri which is being celebrated throughout the country. Indu Kanwal Chib, D C Reasi, addressed the people on this occasion and said that celebrations of every festival have their own values. She elaborated the role of JKAACL for showing the very beautiful cultural items which inspired the traditional aspects among the people. Popinder Singh Paras Editor Sheeraza Punjabi also spoke on this occasion. He said that Academy aims to organise culture, music and literary programmes in far- flung areas to provide the platform to the youth to display their talent in the present scenario.
