Appointment of permanent faculty in Degree colleges demanded | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 6: Criticizing Government for not appointing permanent faculty for the newly opened and announced degree colleges in various districts, Parduman Singh, Ph. D Scholar and Chairman Jammu Scholar Forum said that the colleges which are still running don't have permanent faculty. As per press release, Parduman Singh alleged that government has been engaging contractual lecturer through academic arrangement putting the future of these educated unemployed youth at stake. He said that this new policy of absorbing youth on contractual basis is not viable. He emphasized that how these colleges would run in the absence of deserving permanent lecturers. The government is making the mockery of the entire education system whose ultimate brunt would have to be borne by the employed youth of our state. Thousands of colleges lecturer and 10+2 lecturer post vacant last many years. Parduman Singh appealed the Governor to intervene into the matter. |
