Jammu, Mar 8: In its continued efforts to train maximum members of public from different walks of life, the Indian Red Cross Society under the aegis of St. John Ambulance (India), NHQ, New Delhi have regularly been imparting First-Aid trainings and awareness programmes all over the Country with the sole motto of minimizing the loss during any kind of medical emergencies. Indian Red Cross Society imparted First-Aid awareness programme to the employees of Uflex Pvt. Ltd., at their unit, Bari Brahmana Jammu. Team of Red Cross Senior Doctors who visited their included Dr. Ranbhushan Singh, Sr. Consultant assisted by Kanchan Devi, sup. Pharmacist. In his address he emphasized on the very importance of the First-Aid training and quoted personal as well as experiences of others who being a trained First-aider could be helpful in saving precious lives. He said that everyone should acquire the knowledge of First-Aid and if we have trained work force of First-Aider, the mortality rate will also substantially reduce.
