| Kabir Nirvan Divas observed | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Mar 10: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha observed '501th Kabir Nirwan Divas' today at Kabir Bhawan Chak Avtara, Bishnah. The function was attended by people from all the districts of Jammu division especially from district Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Reasi.
A grand Shobha Yatra was taken out on the occasion which started from Bari Brahmana and after passing via Deoli-Salehar-Arnia finally culminated at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah. The devotees were singing bhajans and the shobha yatra was warmly welcomed by the villages enroute.
The entire route was decorated with flowers. Various jhankies depicting the different aspects of Sadguru Kabir's spiritual life were part of the shobha yatra.
The spiritual discourse was delivered by Dina Nath Ji Punjab wale disciple of Great Mahatma Shri Chandi Ram Ji on the bani of Saints with special reference to Kabir Bani. He explained the sangat that Kabir was a living spirit of God and preached the inner richness of human values and his main thrust was on humanity by spreading the message of love, peace and tranquility.
President of the Kabir Sabha, FC Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that Sant Kabir is a guiding beam of enlightenment and spiritual attainment from whom we all felt inspired and drew strength from. He appealed to the people of Bhagat Community to unite on a common platform and maintain a positive approach for the proper upliftment of the community. The Sabha also applauded the restoration of reservation in promotion to the SC/ST community & further appealed the state government to implement the same by giving a retrospective effect & clearing the back logs of the SC/ST quota. |
