NPSU appeals Prof Bhim Singh to contest Lok Sabha election from Jammu-Poonch

JAMMU, Mar 12: Annual meeting in the presence of various office bearers of NPSU units was held under the chairmanship of Thakur Virender Singh, State President NPSU and appealed Prof Bhim Singh to contest Lok Sabha elections form Jammu- Poonch seat so that an efficient representation could be given to people of Jammu Pradesh.
While discussing the various issues, the office bearers of NPSU prepared a memorandum for the reorganization of NPSU unit so that the grass-root cadre may be inducted and the issues relating to students could be raised. While addressing the office bearers, Thakur Virender Singh declared that new President of NPSU shall be elected very soon. He also mentioned the name of the next President and requested Chief Patron of NPSU, Prof.Bhim Singh to appoint the new President as the present President has joined the Bar, as Advocate after his tenure.
He added that Prof. Bhim Singh has contributed a lot for the upliftment of the Dogras and the people of Jammu Pradesh and this is the right time when Prof. Bhim Singh should come in the front to contest the election from Jammu Pradesh and represent the people of Jammu Pradesh. He further added that many historical battles for the youth and students, farmers and workers, employees and serving people were spearheaded by Prof. Bhim Singh including Resettlement Act, inducting the Dogri language into the 8th Schedule, fight for West Pakistani Refugees and POK Settlers are some of the contributions of Prof. Bhim Singh. A written memorandum was submitted at Party Headquarters in this regard. NPSU also declared a contribution of Rs.5 Lacs towards the election campaign of Prof.Bhim Singh.
