Kathua, Mar 13: Residents of Hatt Maska Basohli led by its Sarpanch staged a strong protest against Mining Department on Wednesday and raised slogans against District Mining Officer Kathua Dr Rajinder Bandral. While talking to Media they said we have been requesting the administration to take steps for halting the operations of the illegal crusher in the Hatt Maska Basholi Tehsil of District Kathua which was Run By Mining Mafia of Himachal Pradesh and which becomes a health menace, Especially for children and elderly and has a negative impact on the local Ecology and great loss to the Jammu and Kashmir state Exchequer in crores. They alleged Mining Department responsible for all this mess one side District administration order to seize the stone crusher and on another side after seizes of stone crusher it was operational within days with the blessing of Mining Department. They further stated a few days back we stage Protest at Hatt Maskaa for seizer of the illegal Stone Crushers which was Run by Mining Mafia from Himachal without any Permission and not having any valid documents. A team was constituted by DC Kathua to seized of the Crusher and team was Reached Hatt Maska and Seized the illegal stone crusher a few days back. |
