Rich Harvest shines in Shooting Championship

Jammu, Mar 15: Rich Harvest sharp shooters dominated the prestigious 9th J & K Shooting championship held at DPS from 10th March to 14th March by winning an amazing 7 medals. 300 sharp shooters from all over J & K participated in the tournament which was organized by the J & K Rifle Association. The Chief Guest on the occasion DGP J & K, Dilbag Singh inaugurated the event in the presence of President JKRA, Kuldeep Jamwal.
Aneesha Sharma was the top scorer in all the Rifle categories with splendid sore of 389/400 for which she received a gold medal and a standing ovation. Adhiraj captured Gold medal with a score of 388/400. Vansh bagged silver medal with a core of 380/400. In the under 15 pistol event Vivaan walked away with Gold with a score of 356/400 and Munish won silver with a score of 248/400. In the under 18 category, Sainath won bronze medal with a score of 363/400. The 7 medals winners were welcomed back with open arms by the Principal Anita Bhatia.
The Director of the School Ruchi Charak congratulated the sharp shooters and appreciated the efforts of their coach Vishal Mehra for honing the shooting skills of the sharp shooters.
