Shah Faesal's function proved to be a damp squib
3/17/2019 10:54:56 PM

Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 17: The much publicized political entrance of former IAS officer Shah Faesal has proved to be a damp squib as turn-out in his first political rally was very low. During his first maiden speech, Faesal utilized his energy to convince that people that he was not an 'agent' as alleged by some forces. Without giving any names, Faesal said, "Those who were ready to accommodate are now saying, I am an agent of RSS and BJP."
Shah Faesal said, "Our intention to launch this party is to provide a platform for people from all religions and castes." Faesal also said that Kashmiri Pandits were also part of the Kashmiri culture and that they should return to the Valley. Only attraction of Shah Faesal's function was Shehla Rashid Shora, active member of Tokday Tokday Gang who is known for his anti-Jammu stance. Shehla said, "We need basic living facilities and we need development. We will work for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue"
Shehla Rashid has been an active critic of PM Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, but there is no clarity on whether the party will field her as a candidate in the Lok Sabha elections or not.
