Early Times Report

Kalakote, Mar 18: "Installation of Government Degree College at Trayath, Kalakote is an interminably pending behest of the people" said National Coordinator, All India Congress Committee Vichar Vibhag and former Legislator, Ashok Kumar Sharma, while addressing a Workers Convention regarding constitution of Tehsil Congress Committee Taryath at Tehsil Taryath, Kalakote. Sharma while expressing serious concern over the impetuous and unceremonious persuasion of the state governing authorities besides struggle of local people for their long pending veritable and guileless demand and said that there is no other Government Degree College situated in 110 kms between Reasi and Kalakote which is need to be considered. Sharma further added that this stretch of 110 kms covers almost 50,000 pax of population prescribing all the norms obligatory for Government Degree College in Taryath which is known as nucleus. This region hitherto lacks the requisite primary and secondary scholastic conservatory besides lowering down the grades and merits of the students of the regions as they have to hasten far away to assimilate and pursue pedagogic degrees and courses and appealed the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir to contemplate the importunity and take germane steps for the rectification of the people and the society. The appointment of Tehsil Congress Committee Teryath included Ashok Kumar Bazal as President, Vinod Kumar as Chairman, Vishamber Nath Sharma as Sr. Vice President, Bihari Lal as Vice President, Satish Kumar and Chain Lal as General Secreteries, Sita Ram Bazal as Chief Advisor, Baldev Raj and Sham Lal as Advisors, Kernail Chibber and Kewal Bazal as Panchayat President, Som Nath, Ashok Sharma and Neik Ram Sharma as Secretaries.
