| Mount Litera Zee School celebrates Holi | | | JAMMU, Mar 20: Mount Litera Zee School, Anand Nagar, Bohri Jammu and its junior wing Kidzee celebrated "HOLI " in the school premises with religious fervor and enthusiasm .
The function was celebrated with a special assembly in which the students were given demonstration regarding this festival and made aware about the theme behind it. The facilitators along with the students enjoyed the festival of Holi by playing colours with each other.
Speaking on the occasion, Er. Parneesh Mahajan said that HOLI is one of the important festivals of the Hindus. It is a colourful festival of great joy and enthusiasm. It is celebrated all over the country. It indicates the end of winters and beginning of spring. Holi is celebrated to mark the victory of truth over evil.
A day before Holi a large bonfire is lit that helps in burning out the evil spirits and that whole process is called as "Holika Dahan".
