Baramulla, Mar 21: Two unidentified militants were killed, at least seven security forces including Dysp Headquarter, SHO Dangiwacha and three civilians got injured during day long clashes at three different places of north Kashmir.
According to reports that, today morni.g gunfight rages between militants and security forces in Warpora village of Sopore town, after which the search operation was launched in the area.In the meantime, clashes broke out in the outskirts of the area, after which a contingent of police were chasing the youth in the clashes SHO Dangiwacha, Mudasir Gilani and two cops got injured, while as militants fired UBGL grenade on a CRPF bunker in Sopore town where a civilian got injured who were later shifted to the nearby hospital for advanced treatment, said reports.
Reports said that, another encounter broke out between militants and government forces in Mir Mohalla of Hajin area, where one militant was.killed and two civilians got injured and the operation was underway till the last reports came in.On March 20, late evening there were reports that, CASO was launched in Kalantra Kandi of Baramulla district as the militants had fired upon the security forces, however the operation was suspended for a night and was resumed today morning, said sources.
Reports said that two militants were trapped among which one unidentified militant was killed who body was later on retrieved and the encounter was on.
There are also reports that, clashes broke out between a group of youth who pelt stones on security forces in which Dysp Headquarter, Syed Javid along with three cops got injured.
All the injured were shifted to hospital for further treatment, while as the operation was underway in the Kandi area of Baramulla district.
However yesterday police busted a hideout in the same area, after there were reports about the presence of militants in the area, and outer cordon was launched in the are?
Meanwhile, the mobile internet was suspended in Baramulla district to maintain law and order, following the encounters at three places of north Kashmir.
