Jammu, Mar 21: Newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Sujit Kumar, has sought cooperation and support from the public to eradicate the crime.
Kumar, who is known for his integrity, in a facebook post wrote: "I have assumed the charge of DIG JSK Range, Jammu on 18.03.2019. I will do my best to come to the expectations of the public at large by making sincere efforts in the line of best policing with transparent and speedy investigation and detection of crime. My main focus would be to address public grievances and motivating youth to contribute/ help Police in today's scenario especially to curb menace of drugs. Police-Public interaction would be my main focus. During my tenure as DIG JSK Range, I need cooperation and support from public and ensure the same from my side also. Public is free to approach to me 24x7. Suggestions/ comments are always welcome." |
