Pak supporters in Kashmir silent on abduction, forced conversions of Hindus across fence

Early Times Report
jammu, Mar 25: Making no delay in accusing New Delhi for almost everything that goes against the interests of the separatist sentiment in Kashmir, the Pakistan supporters in the valley are silent over the abduction and forced conversion of Hindu girls in the neighboring country.
The two girls, Raveena (13) and Reena (15), were kidnapped by a group of "influential" men from their home in Ghotki district in Sindh on the eve of Holi. Soon after the kidnapping, a video went viral in which a cleric was purportedly shown soleminising the marriage of the two girls, triggering a worldwide outrage.
But while people across the world have been condemning Pakistan for crimes against the Hindu minorities, the mainstream and the separatist leadership in Kashmir are silent as if nothing has happened.
From former Chief Ministers including Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, to separatist leaders like Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, almost very prominent voice is silent on the atrocities in Pakistan.
Ironically amid this attack on minorities in Pakistan, the National Conference candidate for north Kashmir Parliament seat, Muhammad Akbar Lone has been openly chanting "Pakistan Zindabad."
Akbar recently said he would abuse anyone who abuses Pakistan. And this man looks ahead to be a MP in the Indian Parliament.
"What is most shocking is that Mehbooba despite being a woman herself has been largely silent on what is being done to Hindu women in Pakistan and this is something ironic," said one analyst.
While most of these prominent faces in Kashmir claim to be champions of human rights, their mouthpieces go silent when it comes to speak truth against Pakistan.
On March 20, the families of the two girls in Pakistan had lodged a First Information Report against their alleged forced conversion.
