Samba, Apr 8: Samba police worked on Monday claimed to have solved burglary case with the arrest of kingpin and recovery of stolen items gold ornaments.
Acting over the complaint, cases under FIR Number 153/18 U/S 454/380 RPC & FIR No. 157/18 U/S 454/380 RPC were registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation was started quickly. On this, a special team headed by Inspector Rajeev Kumar SHO P/S Ghagwal under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy. SP Head Quarters Samba and under overall directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma JKPS, SSP Samba was constituted to apprehend the accused person involved in this crime and who was decamping with gold ornaments.
During the course of investigation, special team constituted rounded up several suspects and finally succeeded in arresting the thief, who during the investigation confessed his involvement in execution of crime.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohd. Ayoob S/o Shams Din R/O Nagna Shandra Tehsil Basohli District Kathua. On his disclosure, stolen items including 2 pairs golden Kangan, 2 pair golden ear rings, 02 pair golden rings, 01 pair ear tops were recovered. Further questioning of the accused is going on to which may ascertain the involvement his associates. |
