Ramnagar , Apr 14: In a shocking incident, former BJP MLA, RS Pathania misbehaved with sarpanch from Kheen area and slapped a civilian during electioneering.
While Talking to ET Kuldeep Singh sarpanch of Kheen Panchayat said that the public meeting started at 9 p.m instead of 5 p.m. "He used loud speakers in total violation of code of conduct. People in the village usually sleep by 8 p.m and use of load speakers disturbed the villagers," he said
He said when he reached the venue , he asked the former legislator to give him the mike as he wanted to say something.
"He used abusive language and asked his security men to take me into the car. He also slapped a villager , Malkit Singh," he said.
Kuldeep said he went to the police station to register a complaint but was told to come in the morning.
The shocked sarpanch has sought action against the erring former legislator. "There is no scope for gundagardi," he made clear. |
