Rape accused addressing rallies in support of Mehbooba Mufti
4/22/2019 11:13:29 PM
Early Times Report
srinagar, Apr 22: After demise of statesman Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has virtually turned into a 'communal outfit' and this can be gauged from the fact that a rape accused is not only star campaigner for the party in Anantnag Lok Sabha elections but is also 'gracefully' sharing stage with former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
The rape accused Talib Hussain, the self-styled tribal activist and a fake advocate, who tried his best to put Jammu on fire on communal lines, after heinous Rasana incident.
Mehbooba Mufti, who is herself contesting election on Anantnag Parliamentary constituency, is sharing stage with Talib Hussain, who is on bail in alleged rape case of the nomadic woman. The only qualification of Talib Hussain is that he is expert in communalizing even inhuman tragedies like Rasana. The top PDP leadership including former chief minister is sharing stage with Talib Hussain and allowing him to address people reflects vision of PDP's leadership and its communal agenda.
As reported earlier, on April 1, Mehbooba Mufti had inducted rape accused Talib Hussain into her party fold and accorded him historic reception with flower petals.
PDP president, who herself a female, accorded so much respect to an accused whose own wife and some other females had charged him with allegation of demonizing modesty of womenfolk.
PDP's star campainger Talib Hussain is facing number of cases especially committing crime against women. Apart from his wife, one relative, a student of Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), who had invited Hussain to the campus for a seminar, had accused the activist of raping her.
Hussain was arrested in connection with the investigation in FIR 185 under section 307, 382, 363, 323, 354A and 498A of the RPC (Ranbir Penal Code, the main criminal code applicable in the state of Jammu and Kashmir). After the FIR 185 was stayed by the Srinagar wing of the state High Court, Samba police registered another FIR 211 on the same date and time and the police arrested Hussain following charges under section 376 RPC and 4/25 of the Arms Act on the direction of the SHO (Station House Officer) Samba.
