High School commences at Sanjichhat, first Annual day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, Apr 30: Government High School, Sanjichhat celebrated its Annual Day today. Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the Chief Guest at the function. Among those present on the occasion were Nirmal Choudhary, Chief Education Officer, Reasi; Dr. Arvind Karwani, Dy. CEO, SMVDSB and Duni Chand, Tehsildar Bhawan. Speaking on the occasion, Simrandeep Singh congratulated the students on the Annual Day of the school and said that this is an important event for any institution as well as its students. Referring to the upgradation of the school to the High School level recently, he impressed upon the students to put in more hard work and benefit from the this facility as now they are able to pursue their education upto 10th class at Sanjichhat itself. The Chief Executive Officer lauded the spectacular cultural programme presented by the students on the occasion and distributed prizes among them and other students who have excelled in academics and co-curricular activities and wished them bright careers ahead. He also felicitated teachers of the school. The Chief Education Officer, Reasi assured that the required number of teachers will be provided to this recently upgraded High School shortly. Dr. Arvind referred to the smart classroom set up in the school recently and impressed upon the students to take optimum benefit from this facility. Sudesh Sharma, Dy. Manager, SMVDSB, Sanjichhat, gave welcome address while as Ashok Kumar, Headmaster of the school presented a vote of thanks. Among those who were present at the function included officers and staff of the Shrine Board, teachers, staff, students of the school and their parents. |
