| AEO suspended in Doda for violating MCC | | | Abid Hussain Wani

Doda, Apr 30: District Election Officer, Doda (DEO) Dr Sagar D Doifode today suspended an AEO of Agriculture Department posted at Charota for gross violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC). The order issued by DEO reads that, "as complaint received from various quarters along with the screen shots of Social Media Posts regarding alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct, by one Hafiz Mir AEO Agriculture Department posted at Charota Agriculture Zone Assar District Doda.
Further the screen shot evidence submitted by the complainant, reveals that the violation of MCC has allegedly been done by the said official.
As per SRO-525 dated 26th of Dec 2017, which prohibits the Government Employee from posting such content on Social Media which may be pre-judicial to the Government and also bars an employee from using personal social Media Account for political activities etc" -order further reads.
Acting tough against the gross violation of MCC, DEO Doda, suspended Hafiz Mir AEO Agriculture Department posted at Charota Agriculture Zone Assar District Doda with Immediate effect. Further, Sub- Divisional Magistrate Assar shall conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and submit a comprehensive report, the order read. |
